Nikon Digital SLR Review Video Clips. Duration : 1.12 Mins.

More Details : goo.gl Customer Reviews: "This is an excellent camera, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the package that is being offered here, but there is a "devil in the details" of this two lens package that could trip you up if you are not careful. If you are going to buy a high-power zoom lens like a 70-300mm, having image stabilization built into that lens is pretty critical. At the high magnification factors, any little shake or movement is going to be very difficult to overcome, no matter how steady you are. The D90 itself has image stabilization built in, but the D90 image stabilization alone is not going to be enough to overcome vibration on a handheld camera with a 300mm zoom. You will note that the standard 18 - 105mm lens in this package is from Nikon's (Nikkor) VR line, and by definition the VR line has the built-in electronic image stabilization. But the 70 - 300mm lens -- the one that REALLY could benefit from image stabilization -- is not a "VR" lens and does NOT have built-in image stabilization -- I just called the vendor and they readily confirmed that this is the case, and they further commented that a package including a 70-300mm VR lens would add "0 to 450 to the package price". Again, there is nothing wrong with this camera package, and this is an excellent vendor. Just be sure you go into the purchase knowing what you are getting." "This package has everything you need to take great pictures in a variety of settings. It's not just a ...

Nikon 18-200 F3.5-5.6 VR 2 Demonstration / Review Video Clips. Duration : 4.13 Mins.

Suplimental information: the VR uses quite a bit of battery. Probably as much as the flash at near full power. Also, the VR "sleep" behavior I demonstrate is true of all VR I've tested. I went to the store and tried 5 different VR lenses and they all went to sleep if you held the lens too still. This only happens when you brace yourself or rest your elbows on something. I doubt you could hold it still enough free-standing. "Normal" mode will attempt to actually lock on and hold that position where as "Active" mode simply dampens movements but does not attempt to out-right stop them. NOTE: be sure you turn off vr for any long exposure! The lens will "drift" causing any long tripod exposures to appear motion blurry. Kind of ironic.

I took the opportunity to test out my ickle new digicam by reviewing this clever little bit of kit :). **Note - Assuming I've exported the thing right, Video resolution should be 1280x760** so you should be able to watch in HD. **IMPORTANT NOTE*** As far as I am aware, this lens works for ALL nikon F mount cameras, including the D3100, D90, D5000 D5100 etc etc. Some features (VR, AF) might not work on very old (pre D1) cameras. Thanks :-).

Nikon D40 promotional Review Tube. Duration : 1.80 Mins.

qphotographic.com Nikon D40 with AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II After many hours searching for the "best" DSLR in the market, i came across the Nikon D40. Firstly, however i must say that if you are planning on buying a DSLR, buy it for your own personal needs, and try not to be influenced by anyone elses. Ok so onto the review. The most important thing ill start with first is the image quality. The Nikon D40 produces EXCELLENT images in good light, and if you can compensate for bad lighting conditions with the Manual setting or flash then you can get equally great results. My first few shots were really sharp, and you can really notice the difference in quality, especially if you have just moved from a compact camera to a DSLR. Whenever you say "6 megapixels" to anyone, they usually say "oh.." quite sympathetically, but with the Nikon sensor and 3D matrix metering system there really isnt any difference from say, the Nikon D40X that is also on the market at a more expensive price, despite having 10 MPX. For £328.00 in my opinion it was a bargain, because as an amateur i needed to start at the beginning, but with the Nikon D40 it allows you to progress from a novice, to an expert in months with all the detailed features the camera possesses. If your a "novice" then the camera has numerous inbuilt modes to suit the occassion, no tweaking needed. However, like me, if you like to be "experimental" with your photography the camera certainly allows you to be ...
